NEW Alternative Provision opening Summer Term 2025
We are excited to announce the opening of our new alternative provision, offering respite and support for those who are not currently fulfilling their potential at school.
Laurel Park School is committed to giving all learners the best chance of success. Sometimes respite, additional support or an opportunity to explore an alternative educational pathway can help reset the dial and create a new perspective for learners, encouraging broader success in their studies and support overall progress at school. The chance to explore a new course, not normally offered, may help some students find a new motivation that might reinvigorate their behaviours and attitudes at their home school.
Our provision is directed towards those who are finding that a full academic timetable is not working for them and need some motivation to improve their attitude to school and find some success. Our day release programme gives an opportunity to realise that potential. However, we do not provide support for complex behaviour needs.

Why are healthy school meals important?
Schools, for example, may choose to use the provision as an extension of their internal pastoral support plan or as an additional intervention to help refocus that student when back at the home school.
Our current offering is a Level 1/2 VTCT Beauty course which will operate on a Monday.
All completed forms and paperwork should be emailed to Mr L. Hubbard, Deputy Headteacher, at Laurel Park School,
lhubbard@laurelparkschool.co.uk.
You can also contact him directly should you have any questions.
We look forward to receiving your application.
